Manuzio Artist’s Story
Manuzio was born in Venice in 1956; interested in literature since early age, he followed the path of the humanities, then teaching Italian literature at Padua and Venice.
Later he discovered an unexpected creative force and an ability to “do something” with his hands;
So there were born small libraries, small world suffused with fantasy where Manuzio, magically in tiny spaces, talks about endless stories resurrecting the past or photographing in his way desires, hobbies, cultural interests. His creations are very accurate replicas of furniture of the ‘700, desks, counters alchemical, libraries that highlight a specific theme made miniaturization of documents, books and objects titles, thus giving rise to the lawyer’s libraries, music, art, medicine, the Jewish world and many other topics. The Manuzio’s libraries have been appreciated by many film personalities, medias, writers for which the artist created custom libraries that collected in a magical way their lives.
